Our Bastille Day Celebration

Wearing Memories was delighted to celebrate Bastille Day, with The Champagne Class and a bevy of fellow champagne lovers.

Held at the stunning BV Kawana Waters on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, we were met at the door with a glass of Moet, then tantalised with a tasting class consisting of a stunning Ruinart Blanc de Blanc and a spectacular 2004 Pol Roger.

Providing gifts for the attendees and showcasing our latest designs for men and women, we were most impressed with the modelling skills of our cufflinks by Jeff Butler from Moet, while our host was also spoiled with a personalised devoted milliner’s hat!

A highlight of the day was our very own Wearing Memories designer, Kiron Barui, performing the ceremonial celebration champagne opening technique of Sabrage, with her own personal sabre, on one of the Pol Roger bottles.

We had an amazing Bastille Day celebration lunch, while fundraising for a great cause, with all proceeds going to a local women’s shelter.
