"I just love my Wearing Memories cocktail ring! It wasn't until just a few weeks ago that I came to realise what a treasure this piece of jewellery would be. For years, I have saved the corks from celebratory and memorable champagne bottles. I have written the date and occasion on the cork, yet I would discard the cage and the decorative cap.
A few weeks ago my husband and I were approaching our 26th wedding anniversary. I was going through a very old box of love mementoes that we have collected over the years. I found many, many signed and dated champagne corks. Much to my suprise I found the cork from the bottle he corked right after proposing to me one evening on a moonlit beach in October, 1987. The cage was of course gone however, the cap de muselet remained in tact, still attached to the cork! I gently removed the cap and placed it in my Wearing Memories ring. Moet et Chandon, 'White Star'. A few evenings later, I wore it to our wedding anniversary dinner celebration. A wearable memory I will treasure forever..."
